The Ministry of Transport’s budget expenditures for 2025 are projected to be 4.9 billion soms. The Ministry of Finance provides this data in the explanatory report to the draft republican budget for 2025.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the amount of 4.9 billion soms exceeds the expenditures of the approved budget for 2024 by 10.7%.
The Ministry of Transport’s expenditures under the item “public investments” next year are projected to be at the level of 9.5 billion soms. Within the framework of public investments in 2024, the allocation of 14.2 billion soms has been approved.
The Ministry of Finance also says that the country’s climatic features cause very rapid wear and tear of road surfaces, which causes a constant need for intensive repair and restoration work.
The bill on the republican budget for 2025, which approves specific amounts of expenditure as of mid-October, is under consideration by parliament.
