Kyrgyzstan increased its exports of goods by 2.1 times in August 2024, compared to August 2023, according to data from the National Statistical Committee.
In August 2024, exports were worth $519.7 million.
In total, from January to August, the volume of exports amounted to $2.2 billion, which is 13.1% higher than the figures for the first eight months of 2023.
More than half of exports since the beginning of 2024 were sent to 5 countries:
• to Russia — $630.2 million;
• to the UK — $445.7 million;
• to Kazakhstan — $289.1 million
• to China — $214.1 million;
• to Uzbekistan — $198.1 million.
