The volume of household funds attracted to bank deposit accounts (taking into account the outflow) in the first half of 2024 amounted to 30 billion 271.6 million soms, which is 38.5% more than in January-June 2023. This is stated in the materials of the National Statistical Committee.
The balance of deposits of individuals as of July 1, 2024 exceeded their volume on the corresponding date in 2023 by 28.4% (by 54 billion 104.5 million soms) and amounted to 244 billion 612.8 million soms. The share of household deposits in national currency accounted for 55% of their total volume, in foreign currency – 45%.
